Umbilini began hosting Painting events in 2019 to inspire creative self expression. Our vision was to create events that are fun, family friendly and therapeutic. We wanted the artists to have a multi sensory experience that was also an outlet for what ever was going on in life. Our events were designed to be the cherry on top of a great day and the break you needed after a long one.

When you attend a Paint and Sip event you are consciously choosing to explore the depth of your creativity and to relax and unwind. For 3 hours the focus is on a blank canvas, paint brush and palette of acrylic paints. You can create a masterpiece on Canvas, Pottery or Barkcloth.

Umbilini provides all painting material & a passionate professional artist. No past painting experience is needed. You can take your masterpiece home or gift it to a friend or loved one. A gift handmade with love that is timeless & priceless.

Umbilini hand picks venues that resonate with our vision. Beautiful and unique venues have opened their doors to the Umbilini Community. Together we have organised over 2000 Arts and Crafts classes, workshops, private, cooperate & fundraising events.

Behind the Scenes

The preparation for a painting event is a whole family experience. I appreciate all the help and support my family offer to manifest “Paint & Sip”

Robin “huby” makes the pinewood frames and mounts the primed cotton. Selassie counts and sorts the frames. He also supervises mummy to make sure I’m doing it right. Tara offers her encouraging “Da da da” on a hot day which is perfect for drying the primed cotton.

I get to share this beautiful experience with my family for my creative family. This means the world to me.

“It is a blessing to share my dream to create sacred spaces for the Arts and self expression.”
